Chad Shugart is the founder of Texas 35 Media. He has a master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, and Criminal Justice from Sul Ross State University. His bachelor's is in Government from New Mexico State University. He has been in the education field for 27 years where he has been a coach for several media teams at various schools. Along with teaching he has worked as a media coordinator for several political candidates. In college he wrote for the college newspaper, took photographs and rose to be sports editor and political editor. In film he has worked on several sets as extras to include The Day After Tomorrow and helping with productions, was a stand in for Glory Roads.
Christine Treanor is the Vice President for Texas 35 Media. She has a master's degree in Media Communications, a Sports Communication Graduate Certification, and an Advanced Digital and Social Media Graduate Certificate from Texas Tech University. Her bachelor's degree is in Speech Communications from the University of Texas-Pan American. Before joining Texas 35 Media, she taught high school English and was a head golf coach. Before becoming a teacher, she worked in marketing and tournament operations for golf courses. With Texas 35 Media she has been an assistant coach, a photographer, a copy editor, and a layout editor.
Dawn Keane-Dawes is the Director of Financial Development. She has a Bachler's degree in Teaching and Business Administration from Texas Lutheran University. She has been in education for 32 years as coach and economics teacher. Has a strong passion for performing arts and has helped in various roles in preforming arts. With Texas 35 she has been an assistant coach for film.
Latricia Lewis is the director of performing arts. She is currently pursuing her teaching degree at Grand Canyon University. Has a strong passion for fine arts and the performing arts sine she was 4 years old. Performed all over San Antonio as a singer and have done acting in support of African American history for 4 years.
Hondo Lopez is the director of sports for Texas 35 Media. Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Information Technology at the University of North Texas, he joined the Texas 35 team as a photographer in early 2024. Through his work photographing significant sports events such as The Texas Relays, UIL State Track, and various softball playoffs and track meets, he advanced to his current leadership position. Additionally, he played a key role as an editor in the Texas 35 Media Year in Review.
Kam Nace is Texas 35 Media head broadcaster. He is attending Texas State University for a bachelor's degree in Mass Communications with aspirations of becoming a broadcaster for a major network. As our newest member of Texas 35, Kam is breaking into his career path early by becoming our lead broadcaster as he helped us redefine our broadcasting focusing on performing arts.
The Board of Directors has approved the creation of the position pending final budget funding . provides high-level administrative, organizational, and operational support to the CEO and potentially other senior executives. This role requires exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage confidential information with discretion. Responsibilities include managing calendars, travel arrangements, preparing documents, coordinating meetings, and acting as a liaison between the CEO and other stakeholders. Have active role in all coverage and media training. Applicants should have experience in high school performing arts, preferably in marching band, must be able to take quality pictures of performing arts, videography and editing are a plus. This position does require some travel overnight and will be expected to work on Friday nights along with Saturday through out the school year. This position is a part time. This role can encompass a range of duties, including but not limited to, assisting with research, attending rehearsals, managing schedules, and communicating with the production team. Ivy Keane-Dawes is a Junior at Veterans Memorial HS (SA). Ivy was our first intern and has been with Texas 35 Media since her 8th grade year. Ivy has worked as a photographer, videographer, reporter, director and editor in chief. After graduation she plans to attend UT Austin and major in film and mass communication.

Luke Ahart is a Junior at Veterans Memorial HS. This is the second-year internship for Luke as a photographer and videographer. After high school, Luke would like to be a car photographer and work as a real-estate agent.
Nicholas Ramirez Cate is a Senior at Warren HS. Nicholas will be working with our Performing Arts Division. He has been part of the Warren HS Marching Band playing snare in the drumline.
Albert Ysaguirre is a senior at Warren HS. Albert is a sousaphone and bass trombone player with the warren band and jazz band. He plans on goin Texas A&M school of music. He will be working as a photographer and as an on air talent interviewing and reporting at various events.
Logan Johnson is a Senior at La Vernia High School for the 2025-2026 school year. He is a flute player and head Drum Major. He has been devoted to graphic design and editing for over 3 years. He will work with us on graphic design and editing.
